Each country seems to have its own version of palmiers, but Argentines hit a home run with Hojalmar Palmeras! Sweet, crispy, heart-shaped perfection!
Why
We have the French to thank for the original palmiers, and Argentinian brand Hojalmar for bringing them, with all of their sweet glory, to our households!
Palmeritas are classic puffy pastry biscuits, shaped like a heart (or an ear, or a butterfly, or a shoe-sole (really?) depending on who you ask). They're crispy, soft, not overly sugary but enough to satisfy that sweet tooth!
